Campout in Hammett

somehow we got mixed up in doing custom work in hammett, idaho. so, thursday nite ben and i and the boys went camping down there so that ben could get up and rake and then run the claas cougar (5 header swather) that was brought out to demo. i have to admit the scenery was just what i love and if i had it my way (with some serious cash to back it) that's where i'd live and raise a family in the middle of nowhere with all the land in ONE tract! so nice! and bordering the snake river for recreational purposes:) but, back to reality, we had a nice change of scenery camping out in uncle larry's camp trailer with me and the boys on the top bunk and ben on the hideaway couch. we stopped at the local joint for sandwiches that nite and then, in the morning, i got up and made pancakes so it could feel like we were really camping, which it did, because it was the coldest nite they'd had in a few months! never mind that our plans, of course, changed 50 times and we didn't get out of there and headed home until after 4, but both boys took a nap in the afternoon and there was somewhat of an air conditioner. i'd been wanting to camp all summer, so this was my wish come true!
